Nights in Rodanthe

Nicholas Sparks

--Becca Lash (Staff Writer)

Nights in Rodanthe is an exciting novel written by Nicholas Sparks, that I personally enjoyed a great deal. Nights in Rodanthe is a story about the love and adventures a middle-aged woman, Adrienne Willis, finds while keeping a friend’s inn in a town called Rodanthe. Adrian, at the time, was a woman going through a mid-life crises due to a current divorce and the poor health of her beloved father. This all changes when Dr. Paul Flanner arrives at the inn. Coincidently, Dr. Flanner was taking a change of direction in his life, which lead him to a getaway to the inn for a few days. Throughout the book, Sparks doesn’t loose your attention for a second as he describes the adventures and excitement thet went on while the two were at the inn.
I really enjoyed this book, and recommend it to everyone. It was a very easy read, that was full of excitement, especially the tragic ending. On a scale of 5 stars, it definitely receives a 5 from me.
