HOUSE |
|
|
Katy Gorby (Staff Writer)
As an infectious disease specialist, Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) is a brilliant diagnostician who loves the challenges of the medical puzzles he must solve in order to save lives and makes people mad. House solves the inexplicable cases that other doctors cannot understand or they can figure out. House isn't alone in this quest to find there problems. His team includes neurologist Dr. Eric Foreman (Omar Epps), a neurologist with a troubled youth and a desire to avoid becoming as abrasive as House; immunologist Dr. Allison Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) - who sometimes cares too much and has conflicting feelings about House; and Dr. Robert Chase (Jesse Spencer), a specialist in intensive care who has lived a very privileged life. House's good (and possibly only) friend Dr. James Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) is an oncology specialist, who has to help and stand up for House on a regular basis, while trying to get him to face a few harsh truths. House must also deal with his boss, Lisa Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) who, while often opposing House's unconventional methods, must admit that he is the best doctor on her staff. When a patient’s life hangs in the balance, House will do anything, including breaking the law, taking risks other doctors would not take, and sometimes even going as far as actually interacting with a patient. House’s methods may be controversial but his results speak for themselves. Inconsistencies with his team forced House to hire a new batch of doctors. Although his old team no longer takes orders from House they're still around to throw in their professional knowledge when need is dire. Together they will continue to solve cases most doctors can't or choose not to.
The likes and dislikes about House
The likes is that Dr. House helps people and there needs. He discovers what other doctors can’t figure out. When they are trying to figure out some of the cases or symptoms they have they end up changing it because Dr. House says that there is something different. When they are trying to figure out what the patient has. You’re at home thinking what Dr. House is going to do next or what he is going to do next. The dislikes are that Dr. House is addicted to vicodin. He is also an alcoholic. He is a rude and obnoxious person when it comes to certain things. |
