This movie proved very disappointing. I went and saw it several weeks ago at Carmike Cinema in Morgantown, WV and I would consider it a waste of money. The plot is ridiculous. An ex-spy's daughter is taken by Albanians and he conveniently uses his spy training to save her.
Now, this film, had he not have been a spy, may have proved quite interesting and somewhat thrilling. It still would not have been a box office hit but it would have been something decent to watch when nothing is on. But he was a spy. That is way too convenient for the storyline. I give this film a 4/10 rating. I was unimpressed.
One could say I felt like I had seen this film before. Everything was predictable and as I have mentioned before, too convenient. Any problem he had he had a quick solution for since he was a spy. It was all too easy. The conflict that was so desired was too easily overcome.
Save your money if you really want to see it. Wait to rent it on DVD.
