You Don't Mess with the Zohan

Ashley Stoneking (Staff Writer)

The Zohan (Adam Sandler) is the finest counterterrorist agent the Israeli army has!  This is until he fakes his death in a vicious battle against his rival and then travels to Manhattan to live his life long dream to become a hairdresser.   Now this fighting machine who used to clip the bad guys is now trying to prove he has what it takes to be a professional at clipping hair! All is just silky smooth until his cover is blown by a Palestinian cab driver (Rob Schneider) who recognizes him from past battles.  Now the Zohan must fight to live a peaceful life in New York in this amazing action packed film from Adam Sandler, Robert Smigel, Judd Apatow, and Dennis Dugan.

I must say this movie was very funny and hilarious to watch with friends and older adults, but it is not for the under 13 crowd!  It is very inappropriate for young kids who don’t know a lot about life. It needed to calm down on a lot of the sexual jokes; I think they went a little over board on most of it. I’m not saying a 16 year old like myself, or someone older wouldn’t like it, but any younger may not. I only rate this movie a 2.5 star rating out of 5.
