"There are three things, after all, that a poem must reach: the eye, the ear, and what we may call the heart or the mind.  It is most important of all to reach the heart of the reader."  -- Robert Frost

You And Only You

Your Eyes Light The Sky

Please Not Today

By: Marlee Clayton

Why say Good-bye
To you when I’m
In love with your eyes
I stare at you with
All my heart and wonder
Why you why leave
Please just stay
What’s left between us?
You say there’s nothing
I say there’s love
I say what am I to do
We will be okay
I promise
I know we’re teens
But we have the
Rest of our life
To live and cry
So why now
I love you
Please love me
Never leave
Cancer can be cured
Just fight for me
Please never leave
Today is not the day!
