A Day In the Shoes of a Freshman

-- Macy McMillan (Staff Writer)

Hello. My name is Macy McMillan and I am a freshman this year. Coming up from the middle school has been a big difference from being the top of the middle school. You basically are the little kids again. First, I go to my first period class geometry and there I am surrounded by a lot of different age groups. In middle school, it was only my grade that I was surrounded by. I go to second period which is Art 1, again with all different age groups. This experience with the different age groups is a bit different. You meet new people that you never thought you would talk to and gain a bunch of new friends. I have met more than ten new people. The rest of the high schoolers are often nice. If you don’t know were a class is (because when you are in middle school you rarely go to the green and orange floors), then you can ask them.
