"There are three things, after all, that a poem must reach: the eye, the ear, and what we may call the heart or the mind. It is most important of all to reach the heart of the reader." -- Robert Frost |

The Price of Love By: Kahlia Roberts |
|
|
One drop, Then two, I felt them come, Help me, help me, I’m so numb.
A door, A window, Somewhere of mine, Alone and safe, To spend my time.
Some good, Some bad, What is this here, That I once loved, And now I fear?
I sob, I cry, For I am lost, Without a trace, I pay the cost.
To love, To hate, I want the first, Even if, It is the cursed. |
