Valentine's Dance Cancelled

A middle school Valentine’s dance was to be held on Friday, February 15, 2008. But because of some of the middle school students’ attitudes toward the dance, it was cancelled. Some middle school students feel that middle school activities and dances should be sponsored by middle school sponsors only. Other people feel that dances should be sponsored by any club so it could help the club with activities and trips they have planned. The night was to be fun with music provided by Mr. Rychtarsky.
There is usually a Valentine’s dance every year, but because of lack of consideration for others, rudeness, and poor attitudes, there was not a dance this year. With this kind of negative attitude, how can we be a positive influence for the future?
