West Greene Middle-Senior High School is an outstanding educational facility located six miles southwest of Waynesburg in the rolling hills and countryside of the southwestern corner of Pennsylvania. Our rural school atmosphere, dedicated faculty, small class sizes, and state of the art technology provide an ideal learning environment for our 500 students in grades six through twelve. The West Greene School District’s educational philosophy is based upon the belief that all students can learn. Students and parents are able to custom design a high-quality, rigorous program of study that will promote life long learning and maximize the potential of all learners. West Greene High School, in conjunction with The Greene County Career and Technology Center, California University of Pennsylvania, Waynesburg University, and The University of Pittsburgh, offers students a diversified set of courses in eight different career clusters: Arts, Human Services, Medical, Engineering, Business and Marketing, Technology, Trade, and Industrial Careers. The faculty, staff, and administration at West Greene are highly committed to providing all students with the opportunity to succeed. Curriculum and instructional objectives are continually developed and refined, enabling students to reach their full potential.
