West Greene students will begin a quest to preserve personal accounts of Greene County veterans.  This year they hope to begin by facilitating the preservation of World War II and Korean War Veterans experiences by interviewing veterans and submitting their stories to the Library of Congress Veteran’s History Project.  The Veterans History Project of the American Folklife Center collects, preserves, and makes accessible the personal accounts of American war veterans so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand the realities of war.

Projects may be viewed at the following link.
