On Friday, October 20th, the West Greene FFA organized a fall harvest celebration for fifth through twelfth grade students. Elementary Center students were excited to spend the afternoon outside and participate in the carefully planned activities. Students of all ages were able to interact with a video game booth and a photo booth, sponsored by the Class of 2018 and the Theater Club respectively. Class of 2019 organized a corn hole tournament, the Class of 2020 had a guessing booth and the Class of 2021 held a “pie-in-the-face” contest. Refreshments were offered by the Ski Club with sweet tea and popcorn, the Peer Mentors had carnival food, while the Life Skills class provided pepperoni rolls, chips and soda. In the true spirit of the harvest season, the FFA roasted chickens on the spit and made apple butter from scratch. A fun time was had by all and the efforts of those involved were greatly appreciated!
