Ranger Andy Lariviere from Ryerson Station State Park came to visit Mrs. Patton’s second grade classroom to speak about signs of fall.  The students learned about the importance of trees, and the wildlife that depends on them.   The played a game with acorns to show the relationship of a trees harvest to the survival of animals.  The students also got to participate in an experiment that transfers chlorophyll from leaves to paper.   We encourage everyone to take advantage of all of the classes held at our Ryerson Station Park.
