Third Graders in Mrs. Vensko's class recently participated in a three-part literacy project. First, students chose a biography chapter book to read in class and at home. After reading the chapter book, students wrote a multi-paragraph book report explaining what they learned about the famous person. Last, with the help of their family, students used their creativity and
imaginations to create a model of their person using a 2-liter pop bottle at
home. All projects were on display in the elementary library for three weeks.
