Mrs. Patton's second grade classroom completed a classroom challenge to read 1000 books in two months to celebrate Read Across America week. They started the week that they got back from Christmas vacation and did not stop until Read Across America week was over. Parents and teachers made sure that they really read their books by signing off on each and every one. We celebrated with ice cream cones and the knowledge that anything is possible when you work hard! Way to go!
