We are currently monitoring the impending winter weather system that is forecasted to impact our region. IF NECESSARY, the district MAY implement a Flexible Instruction Day, however, we are CURRENTLY OPERATING ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE

A Flexible Instruction Day allows our students to continue their learning remotely from the safety and comfort of their homes. Teachers will provide instructions and assignments through the usual online platforms used for remote learning, including Google Classroom. Students must check in with their teachers regularly and complete the assigned work to ensure continuity in their education. You should expect communication from your teachers regarding schedules and assignments in preparation for a change in instructional delivery.

A few other points of information that are pertinent to Flexible Instructional Day work: * All assignments will be allowed 2 additional school days beyond the FID to be submitted as a completed assignment.

* Please communicate with your child’s teacher(s) if he/she cannot attend the online meets. Attendance is a requirement of PDE to operate a FID and attendance will be taken through attendance of the live meets and/or parent communication.

* If you do not have internet access at home, please communicate that with your child’s teacher(s). While we have a consensus, we understand that situations can change.

*Teachers are available to assist your child throughout the entire school day.

We will operate,  if necessary, the schedule as if we were on a 2-hour delay. Meets will start no earlier than 9:55 AM. The elementary teachers will provide a schedule for their students, while the secondary level will have a posted schedule that can be found on our website and Facebook page if it is necessary to implement a Flexible Instruction Day.

Please ensure that your child has access to the necessary technology and/or materials for remote learning. We have sent home devices in the elementary school, while secondary students should have their own devices. If you encounter any issues or have concerns, feel free to reach out to your child's teacher or the school office.

We will continue to monitor the weather situation, and any updates or changes will be communicated promptly through our usual channels, including our website and automated notification system. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during these weather-related adjustments.

Stay warm and safe!
