Students in grades K-12 celebrated the beginning of the fall sports’ season with a district-wide pep rally to kick off the first home game and the inauguration of the newly renovated football field. The cheerleaders, with the help of emcee Mr. Terry Tanner, led the crowd in spirited chants, cheers, and fun to show support for this year’s fall sports teams. Athletes from all fall sports were recognized, and there was a special presentation honoring the 2017 PIAA State Softball Championship team. Pioneer Nation was alive with a contagious energy and school spirit.
