Intermediate Unit 1, in partnership with Greene County Human Services, is pleased to share information about a new Mental Wellness Afterschool Program available to Greene County students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
The program will run from January 13 through May 27, 2026, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the IU1 Waynesburg Campus, located at 100 Ever Greene Drive, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
Students will engage in activities that support the five pillars of social-emotional learning: self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, decision-making, and relationship skills. Each session will also include homework help and a snack. Transportation is available to and from the program.
