Many families know they should have a Special Needs Trust in place.
But that’s usually where things slow down.
Not because they aren’t motivated to get a plan in place.
Because it’s not always clear what to do next.
Questions like:
• Do we actually need one right now?
• How do we set it up the right way?
• What should go into the trust?
• Who should we name as trustee?
These are the exact points where most families get stuck.
Special Needs Planning Town Hall, a safe space for families to learn and ask questions about planning for the future. Each session will begin with a 10–15 minute intro featuring a “Topic of the Week” related to special needs planning. After the brief overview, we’ll open the floor for 20–30 minutes of Q&A, where families can ask questions, talk through situations, or get clarity on next steps.
Tuesday’s (4/28/2026) Town Hall topic is:
“Setting Up a Special Needs Trust — Where Most Families Get Stuck”
We’ll walk through what a trust actually does, where decisions tend to stall, and how to think through each step so your plan starts to feel more resolved.
If you already have a trust, this can help you see how everything fits together.
If setting up a trust is still on your to-do list, this will give you a clear place to start.
