Participants may vote as many times as they want. It's a competition. Last week over 65,000 votes were cast. So far this school year over 4.1-million votes have been cast. WGSD is operating on a 2 hr delay on Monday, February 14, 2022.

The 2022 WG Spelling Bee was held today. Fifty students in grades Fourth through Seventh competed to be West Greene's best speller. The winner earned a spot in the Western PA Regional Scripp's Spelling Bee Competition. This year's champion was 4th grader, Katelyn Soles (3rd from L). Runner up, Darren Knight (2nd from L) and 3rd place, Lakota McElroy (1st on L). Also pictured is Mr. Jeff Polander who organizes the event annually.

The West Greene School District will be closed due to power outages on Friday, February 4, 2022. The school day will be made up on April 19, 2022.

WGSD will be operating on a remote model of instruction on Friday, February 4, 2022. Classes start at 10 AM.

Due to the impending winter storm, WGSD will be dismissing school at 12:30 PM on Thursday, February 2, 2022.
