Eight schools from Washington, Fayette and Greene Counties met today for the first time this school year! Members of WG's Student Government attended the very exciting Student Forum event at Intermediate Unit #1. The group talked about Community Service Projects, future meetings and activities and how we are constantly generating data and how it is constantly tracked for us. Students were led to draw selfies based on personal data. It was definitely a fun and rewarding activity and gave us a lot to reflect on.

Third grade students read a nonfiction book with a science experiment description at the end. The students followed the directions to learn how water travels inside plants. They noticed how the colored water traveled up the celery's stock to its leaves.
