The West Greene School District is currently accepting applications for a part-time secretaty at the elementary center. The 2022 WG Spelling Bee was held today. Fifty students in grades Fourth through Seventh competed to be West Greene's best speller. The winner earned a spot in the Western PA Regional Scripp's Spelling Bee Competition. This year's champion was 4th grader, Katelyn Soles (3rd from L). Runner up, Darren Knight (2nd from L) and 3rd place, Lakota McElroy (1st on L). Also pictured is Mr. Jeff Polander who organizes the event annually.
The West Greene School District will be closed due to power outages on Friday, February 4, 2022. The school day will be made up on April 19, 2022.
