Prom Interest Survey
Student grades 9-12 please check your school email so that you can complete the "Prom Interest Survey".
West Greene is planning to have a Prom Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Lakeview Resort in WV. The cost of the Prom will be approximately $40 per person. The event will include a sit-down dinner.

Fall Sports Physicals will be held in the Elementary Center Nurse’s Suite June 11 and June 15 starting at 9:00 am each day. Please bring your completed PIAA Comprehensive Initial Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation form when you arrive at the school. You can print out the PDF at home if you have printer capabilities or you can stop at the Elementary Center Office Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. and pick up a form prior to arriving on June 11 or June 15.
Adhering to Social Distancing guidelines and avoid long waiting lines we ask that families call the Elementary Center office to schedule a physical time at (724) 499-5191 ext. 2310 or 2311. West Greene 2020 Graduation Ceremony will be this evening at 7:00 pm. In order to follow the State Social Distancing Guidelines, we are limiting attendance to the ceremony. For those individuals that would like to see the ceremony, please follow the link below. The Video Production Team is Livestreaming the graduation ceremony! You can share this link with family and friends so that they may tune in to help celebrate this milestone.

Incoming Kindergarten screenings and on-site registration will take place at WGEC on Wednesday, July 1st, 2020. Please call 724-499-5183 x2310 to schedule a time for your child to be screened. Students eligible for kindergarten this fall must be 5 years old prior to September 1st. Screenings should take no longer than 30 minutes. We ask that only the child being screened and 1 parent/guardian attend.

Chromebook and Textbook return will begin on Monday, June 8th through June 12th during regular office hours of 8 AM - 3 PM. Please return your textbooks to your child's respective building office.
ALL Chromebooks must be returned to the Elementary Office. Please make sure that you include the charger when returning the Chromebook.

All 8-11th grade students should have received an email with directions on how to register for your 2020-2021 school year courses. Please make sure that you review the course catalog and send any questions to Mrs. Cowden and Mr. Sakai with regard to scheduling.

The WGEPO will be distributing gift packages to all 6th graders on the evening of June 3rd between the hours of 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM in the gravel lot. Please do not exit your vehicles. The gifts will be distributed to students in vehicles as they drive through the lot.

The Celebration of Seniors is currently at Jacktown Fire hall. We are running early. Our next stop is New Freeport Fire hall. Around 1:30. Any student that missed a stop can meet the parade at the High School to receive their gifts.

Students grade 5-12 will begin locker clean out Monday May 11, 2020. Please follow Social Distancing Guidelines. Due to the Construction Schedule we ask that all students adhere to the attached schedule. 400 Level lockers were bagged and arranged by locker number.



The fourth paper packet for elementary students will be available for students NOT completing on-line assignments beginning Thursday, May 7th, 2020 from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm. You may drop off completed work at that time.

Elementary Virtual Book Fair: The WGEC Library is having an Online Scholastic Book Fair in place of the face-to-face Book Fair that was supposed to happen in March. The online Book Fair will last from May 4th to May 17th. You must access the book fair through this book fair link https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/westgreeneelementarycenter2 or go to scholastic.com/fair and search for our school. Book-only orders over $25 ship to your home for free. Orders under $25, or that contain items other than books, will have shipping charges added. These orders must ship home, not to the school. Packet work will be available at the Junior-Senior High School starting Monday April 13, 2020 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. If you call in to the Office we will have a packet pre-assembled for your student. You may drop off completed work at that time.
