On Friday, January 9th, Senior Kendra Tharp hit 1,000 career points against Avella and is the newest member to West Greene's 1,000 point club. Kendra is the first girl to hit this milestone since Anna Durbin in 2022. Congratulations, Kendra, on your accomplishment!

🎅 The students in Mrs. Bissett’s and Mrs. Rohrer’s classrooms came together to celebrate Christmas in a truly special way! They enjoyed decorating gingerbread houses, singing Christmas carols, sharing a festive feast, and welcoming a visit from Santa Claus and his North Pole friends. 🎄
A heartfelt thank you to the Core Cares Foundation for helping make this celebration possible. Your generosity made this a day our students will always remember. 🎁

Students have been enjoying their Stories by the Fireplace library class this week! Students in grades k-3 were able to bring holiday/winter stories from home to share, while students in grades 4-5 participated in a holiday-themed escape room.

The third grade students had the opportunity to learn about the Icelandic Book Flood tradition that occurs every December 24. They got to have mini book floods as read by candlelight.

Happy Holidays!! 🎄🏐Today the Class of 2029 had another successful volleyball tournament, with over 90 of our middle/ high school students competing, laughing and enjoying this time of the year together. Thank you to all that made this possible. It was truly a wonderful day to be a Pioneer!
